Glamping by the river IJssel in Gelderland

Near the Veluwe and on the banks of the river IJssel, you will find Holiday Resort De Scherpenhof. Here you can rent a cool glamping accommodation for your holiday in Gelderland. You can stay with up to 6 people at our glampsite along the waters of the river IJssel. The campsite is 20 kilometers from Apeldoorn and 30 kilometers from Zwolle. The campsite is in a very central location, which makes it easy to go on trips in the area. Diepenveen, for example, is a half-hour drive from De Scherpenhof.  At the holiday resort we have an indoor and outdoor swimming pool, tennis courts, and a game hall.  Thanks to the many opportunities in and around the holiday resort, you will certainly not be bored at our glampsite in Gelderland. Glamping on the waterfront

Our safari tents for up to 6 people have a fully equipped kitchen with a spacious sitting area, a coffee maker, and an electric kettle. The tent has two bedrooms, one of which has a double bed and the other has two bunk beds. There is a covered terrace with garden furniture outside the safari tent. Ideal for the perfect glamping holiday on the waterfront. In addition to luxury safari tents, De Scherpenhof offers holiday homes and camping pitches. During your glamping holiday in Gelderland you can use the many facilities at the holiday resort. For instance, there is an indoor and outdoor pool, a recreational lake with a sunbathing area and beach, a kids club, and a marina. There are several catering facilities at the resort such as a restaurant, snack bar and cafe De Saloon. This is how your glamping holiday will turn out truly enjoyable!

What is there to do in the surrounding area?

There are many fun attractions near our glampsite in Gelderland. For instance, you can take a day trip to one of the nearby towns: Deventer, Zutphen, Apeldoorn, or Zwolle. Moreover, there are several museums to visit in and around these towns, such as: the Kröller-Müller Museum, the CODA museum, museum De Waag, or the Fire Department Museum in Rijssen. You can also choose to spend a day at day spa De Veluwse Bron, to continue the luxury feeling of glamping in Gelderland and to completely unwind in the many baths and saunas. Since the park is located on the banks of the river IJssel, you can also take a boat trip or cast out a fishing line during your waterfront glamping holiday. The resort also has a fish pond for excellent fishing. Everything for a relaxing holiday to completely recharge.
