Holiday Resort De Scherpenhof is located in Terwolde, near Deventer, Apeldoorn, and Zutphen. The park is located in a beautiful wetland area which gives you the opportunity to make it a fishing holiday. In fact, you will find a great diversity of fish species in the recreational lake or in the river IJssel. Follow the beautiful cycling routes and hiking trails at Hoge Veluwe National Park. Here you will find beautiful stretches of sandy soil and forests of the Veluwe. Would you rather visit a cultural activity? Then visit 't Loo Palace in Apeldoorn or the Kröller-Müller Museum. There is also plenty to do for children around our campsite along the river IJssel. Visit Children's Amusement Park Julianatoren or learn more about monkeys and their habitat at the Apenheul Primate Park. Absolutely! We have a private marina located directly by the IJssel. This allows you to sail straight onto the water from our campground to explore the natural area.

From your camping pitch by the water you can immediately cast your rod! We also have a recreation lake with private sandy beach where you will find special spots to go fishing.
