If you want to enjoy a holiday with the whole family at a child-friendly campsite, De Scherpenhof is an ideal destination. Our recreation park has a beautiful location on the water of the river IJssel. At De Scherpenhof you can stay on a spacious camping pitch in nature or in a comfortable bungalow or chalet. We offer the coolest facilities for children; we have an indoor play paradise, an indoor and outdoor pool and a chill zone with PlayStation for older children. You can take a boat trip on the river IJssel from our own marina. There is plenty to do in the area for young and old as well. Discover beautiful cities such as Deventer and Apeldoorn or spot monkeys in the Apenheul. You will not be bored for a moment during your stay at our child-friendly campsite!

 
 

Spend the night at our children's campsite

At De Scherpenhof we offer spacious and nature-rich pitches of about 100 m2 in size. These have a 4 amp electrical connection and a water point. Near the camping fields is a bathroom building with showers, toilets and sinks. All pitches are pet-friendly, and some are located near the water. You can also stay in a comfortable accommodation. We offer spacious and detached bungalows and chalets for up to 12 people. These are fully furnished and fully equipped. We also offer cool safari tents for that real glamping feeling. Whatever accommodation you choose, you will have an unforgettable vacation at our children's campsite.

Tips for your stay at our campsite

At our campsite, we offer the coolest activities for children. For example, we have a indoor and outdoor pool with a separate area for the little ones. We also offer swimming lessons. Children will enjoy themselves for hours in the indoor play paradise Play City or in the challenging playground with air trampoline. The older children can meet in the chill zone with Playstation. During the school holidays, cool activities are organized by the recreation team of Kidsclub Holly. There is also plenty to do for children in the vicinity of our campsite. Visit the monkeys in the Apenheul or enjoy a day full of fun at Children's Amusement Park Julianatoren. What will you do first during your vacation?

What outings for children are nearby?

There are all kinds of fun outings for children in the vicinity of our child-friendly campsite. Children's Amusement Park Julianatoren is 20 km away and Adventure Park Hellendoorn is 40 km away. Here the children will experience a day full of adventure.

 

Can I bring my dog to your campsite?

A vacation with the whole family is of course not complete without your four-legged friend! That is why we offer pet-friendly camping pitches and accommodations where your dog has plenty of space.
